University of Calgary is not bad also with those marks you could try for University of Alberta which does have a slightly better engineering program. You have to apply before around may but they give you early admission i fyour grades are so far good or if your are improving or taking courses that you need but are not finished when you apply but they also look at your overall marks at the end which is around june so dont worry you can still improve you have until june.

I work for a American logistics company but based in asia, my team had a meeting a couple of days ago and I find it ridiculous that my superior, who is a woman, just decided to announce to change the meeting from 5.30 pm to 8 am just because a few of my team members who often late due to frequent phone calls from shippers and carriers, and she can't stand it and my team members just kept quiet because she is not a bearable character. I cannot accept that she just change it due to this issue when the reason they are late because they are helping the company making money. How can I present it effectively so that she can revert the time back to original??I had discovered that I should address this issue during my last meeting but i didn't. How can we stop drifting further apart?

My husband and I have a 6 week old baby girl and I know that lack of sleep due to a new baby and getting through the holidays can be very hard for anybody. It just seems like we are drifting further and further apart. We had a huge fight about where we were spending the holidays (his parents or mine). We take turns at night watching the baby so we never get to fall asleep together. I am back to work full time now and his hours were cut back so he is right now the main caregiver and I am the breadwinner and I know this bothers him but my job pays to well for me to quit and stay at home. Golden retriever burps a lot and now vomited today?

So we adopted a 5 year old golden retriever 3 weeks ago, she burps a lot I've noticed and burps loud, especially after she eats. woke up this morning to 4 piles of vomit 2 she ate 2 still looked like regurgitated food. Then while at work hubby said she puked but before he found it she ate it again, and then later tonight she puked greenish liquid (bile?) with a little white mucous no blood. she has been a little sad other than that breathing normal, and she took a piece of plain chicken from me no problem . Her stool has been fine her food has not been changed from the previous owner who told me that she does best on pedigree and not high end food because it upsets her tummy, she also told be that the burping the vet said to mix wet food with her dry which I didn't know and have been feeding her dry food and to put an alka seltzer in her water .....I will get up and feed her a cup of food and she usually doesn't touch it till later, oh and she's been drinking water normal, taking her to the vet tomorrow, what could this be?,

Feeding dog How much?

I have a one year old X Sheppard, ( She is currently about 65 pounds) she has been ill for the past few months, and it was recommended that we feed her canned dog food. NO! Do not get in the water with him!! This is a HIGHLY contagious disease. Until his physician has cleared him and the infection is COMPLETELY gone, do not take that risk. MRSA can kill a small child. Please consult with your physician. MRSA can often give the appearance of "getting better" with antibiotics...however it may not completely clear the staph infection and another antibiotic may have to be used. Contact should not be an issue, if your physician says that it is okay. But proper handwashing is pertinent for everyone's safety. I have worked in nursing facilities for years where this infection is rampant. It is VERY hard to clear up and can cause multiple problems in relation. Often in the elderly and sometimes children, the infection is recurring, even when it appears that it is "gone". Good luck! Hope he gets better very soon!

I have a now ex friend who is bugging me, they have concocted some sort of way I have hurt them, wierd, becuz I didn't. Am I A Loser and Failure?

I am 29 and have still never had a date. I missed freshman and sopre dance, junior prom, and senior prom. I also never went to any school event, besides the band and chorus concerts, because I was part of chorus. I live alone and is somewhat stable. With some money in the bank, I graduated from Rochester Institute Of Technology with high honors. At RIT, I never went to a party and after cles, I would always go to my dorm room. I actually have not gone to a party for probably 15 years. Currently, I have only two friends from work. However, they have their own lives, and I do not talk to them a lot. It seems like I have no interests and no life. All my life my highest achievement was school.

I have never really had high self-esteem. I was 4'8" and weighed 145 lbs. in the 6th grade and had barely any friends because I had moved in the middle of the year to a new middle school. I used to come home balling everyday. Plus I have ADHD so I was never good with friends because I don't know when to shut up. Summer going into 7th I got my first period and I dropped 30 lbs., so I felt a little better about myself. Then I got full B's in the 8th grade (which was very uncommon in my middle school) and I was definitely a lot prettier. Freshman year was a blast, I felt like I could have whatever boy I wanted whenever I wanted him! I started having so I wanted to try the depo provera shot (despite all the warnings about weight gain). After me and the guy had a fallout, I started gaining lots of weight. I went from 130 to 145 lbs. A hair dresser messed up my hair and cut my hair up past my chin and I just felt so hideous. Especially since all my friends I went to the beach with had a fear of weighing in the triple digits. After the 3 months of the shot, I stopped getting my period for 5 months AFTER those 3 months and gained even more weight. I just got it back last Saturday. I now weigh 150 lbs. and I'm 5'3". I look and feel awful. I just feel horrible. All my friends fit into 1, 3, or 5 and I can't even fit into a 7!!! Getting my period back gave me hope that some of the weight might go away again, but I'm out of hope! I just want to feel happy and have confidence again! You have NO idea what it's like to feel uncomfortable in your own skin and walk around and just say to yourself "I hope they don't make fun of me." or "I hope they just ignore me.". I cry all the time and I just want to fit in and stop being such a spazz. Does anyone have any advice that doesn't involve "standing in front of a mirror naked and saying "I love myself""? Because that is not going to work (I can't bare to look at myself in a mirror WITH my clothes on). I want to feel pretty again and not so uncomfortable in public. PLEASE HELP!!! :(

Who should I take on my road trip?

I am planning a 2000mile road trip that would cover 5 states. At first I planned on going with friend A on the beginning of Aug and after that I plan on going to Yosemite with him. I have some small windows open today, but there is no wind that could shake that much. I then asked him if he thought it was some type of aftershock. We don't get noticeable earthquakes here in Arizona, but we live only about 300 miles from the California border maybe even closer. We live in the far West Valley of the state. It only lasted less than a minute or so it felt very strange I can't really describe it so I began searching for more information until I came to a site that listed all the quakes in the world within the last week I saw a few that took place in Mexico the biggest one was 17 minutes ago registered 6.9 Baja California, Mexico. There was also one 8 minutes ago registered 4.1 Northern California. Anybody else feel them or have any information as to what else they could be?

gotta hit the history books for this one. my hypothesis though: originally we were all polytheists and used gods as ways to explain natural phenomena. as science developed, we developed the need for fewer and fewer gods because we started getting the rational answers for our questions supported by evidence until pretty much everyone was convinced about why X-phenomenum happens. now in modern society we only have the very big (and very tiny---quantum mechanics) questions to worry about. so people will continue to be overwhelmingly monotheistic until there is more hard evidence for every scientific explanation to every question one can formulate about the world (metaphysical and physical)

I am sure this is traumatizing for you all! It sounds to me like your dog is losing her sight. It puts her on constant edge, not mean, just to protect herself from things she can't make out and noises not familiar with. When one sense goes, another becomes stronger. Since a dog has excellent hearing anyway, this is becoming stronger and she is hearing a lot of things that are scary along with not being able to see. Please, soon, get her to a vet and get her checked out. Another possiblility is a small stroke, or a form of animal alzheimer's. Please get your baby to the vet soon. If nothing can be found, you cannot have a dog biting like that. You know what you'll have to do on that before it hurts a baby or child or and adult very, very badly and it isn't a family member and they sue your tail end off. But keep the dog away from everyone unitl you can get it to the vet and let the vet know before you go in what is going on so they can be on guard for the dog to be scared and they will be ready for the dog to try to bolt or charge them. I think it is a good point, too. But as art is artifice and so never truly true, it is unlikely that such a mythical being as Adam would be portrayed in a way that wasn't "stylised". Starting when I was about 4 or 5, I would hear this voice in my head every now and then whom I just thought of as a creepy paedophile that wanted to abuse or kidnap me who would tell me to do things a certain way. For example, when the bathtub would start draining, I would get out really quickly because I imagined that he told me that if I didn't get out while it was draining, I would be eaten by snails that would quickly fill the bathtub. I knew that it wasn't real and that it was in my head, but I compulsively did these rituals occasionaly to satisfy it. It didn't interfere with my learning or behavior, and I knew it was in my head and probably grew out of it at about 8 or 9 and never had anything like it again. Would this be considered just normal anxiety and imagination for a child or a psychotic disorder? Also, if I had a disorder then does it mean I still have it? cause I don't hear voices and certainly never have since I was about 8 or 9. When I was little I told my mom about it but she just talked about it with me and asked me if anyone had ever abused me.

Why does my bread always turn out heavy like scones rather than nice and fluffy and light?

I used a self raising flour recipe with 7g yeast, a cup of warm water, a little salt, a little er. Mixed it together, kneaded it for ten mins and left it for 30 mins to rise to twice it's size. Then put it in the oven for 30 mins approx. It went nice and crispy on the outside and tastes nice, but it's a little heavy and doughy in the middle like a scone.

Why do my leather sandals get a white "bloom" on them?

I've only noticed this the past 3 or 4 years. I have 3 pair of leather sandals that develop a whitish, kind of greasy-feeling "bloom" if I don't wear them for a few days. Looks kind of like salt stains. It wipes right off, although when it's built up over the winter it takes some rubbing to get rid of. There's no odor to it. These are heavier, slide sandals with rubber or synthetic soles; one pair by Dr. Marten, one by Skechers, not sure about the other. They're my everyday shoes in warm weather. I live in Michigan and my house is not especially damp or warm; nor do I have any foot problems like excessive perspiration or athlete's foot. This doesn't happen to other leather footwear... just these sandals. Sure would like to know what this is!

I've been doing about 2.3 miles everyday - 1/3 of a mile for warmup, then I did a mile, rest, and do another mile. I'm pretty tired after the first mile, and very tired after the second. Rochester Institute of Technology or Cal Poly San Luis Obispo?

I have been accepted to both of these schools but I am in a stalemate on which to choose. For Rochester, it is in a cold place 20 min from the city of Rochester, the third largest metropolitan city in New York, but from what I have seen, there is not much around the actual college, which I kind of like. They seem to be a decent school with a program where you get a year of paid experience. However, I live in the San Francisco Bay Area, and I wouldn't mind staying close by, or an easy drive length. As well, I have heard Cal Poly SLO is a good school, one of the best for getting a masters in Computer Science and Engineering and Electrical Engineering (which I want to double major in if possible), but I am not sure if I will like that it is a small town, or that it will be relatively warm. As well, I am not sure if it is the best school to go to if it will be affected by the state budget cuts. However, they are also well known for their internships, are located near Silicon Valley, and would probably be better known by potential employers on the west coast, where I want to live after college. Good piccolo audition music?

Im auditioning in the next few months for a program ran through a local college and im a freshmen in high school. im auditioning for first chair flute/piccolo and oboe. i have my oboe music picked out and i have my flute music picked out. im playing a fast and lyrical piece on oboe. and im playing another fast and lyrical piece where the tonguing is important but its really just slur order and occasional staccato on the flute. my question is what music should i play for piccolo? the piece im playing on flute just doesn't sound meant for piccolo so therefore im asking this... what music should i play that's (preferably) more of a light march? i don't mind buying a book but free would be amazing. im not terribly grand on the piccolo so i don't plan on playing JS Sousas piccolo solo but i guess if i REALLY had 2 i could... any suggestions??

I want to sue NCO financial company because one of their employees stole my identity.
