What we can contribute- to make others life simple?

I read that almost 18,000 children die everyday because of malnutrition. Billions of people are living below the poverty line especially in Africa and Asia. Climatic changes and green house emissions will make living in this planet horrible, (may be after 50 - 100 years, but for sure). Lot of discussions are happpening at the world leaders level in this regard. Whether these discussions will bear any result and what we can contribute individually in our daily life.
