How do Chuck Taylor and Doc Martens sizes compare?

On the Doc Martens website they give you tips for the perfect fit, which involves measuring your foot with a tape measure, both length wise and width wise. I followed the instructions they offered and my Doc's fit like a glove...for my feet. ;)
