Do you give equal weight to qualified scientists vs some chumps with fancy websites and a strong opinions?

LOL, no, I prefer to listen to the scientists, and don't understand why some people give credence to scientifically ignorant columnists and bloggers. I mean, would they call a baker to fix their car, or a mechanic to bake them a cake?
