Do I have a legitimate case to sue this company?
I want to sue NCO financial company because one of their employees stole my identity. After many harring phone calls, one of the employees got on the phone with me and said that I was a bad mother for having a debt in collections and so forth. I found out that this woman stole my identity, opened accounts, and made rentals in my name. She even got a license with her face and my info. on it! They haven't arrested her yet because the person that she is with has a fraud identity as well and they won't pick her up until they know more about him as well. I have to wait to hear from the state she's in to get any further information. Anyways, do I have a case to sue them? I got a letter from a collection agency just yesterday about the bill, but I feel like I shouldn't have to pay it because this woman messed up my credit and is making more bills for me. Should I have to pay the bill and is my case legitimate? I called a lot of lawyers and no one wants to represent me unless I lost out on an extreme amount of money. What should I do?
